Larry K. Manuel has been providing sound financial advice to his clients since 1987 and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner certification. Larry is affiliated with Sagemark Consulting in La Jolla, California. His approach to financial planning sets him apart from others in the industry, as his analysis and recommendations encompass all aspects of an individual's financial situation – from estate planning strategies to business continuity, from accumulation planning to retirement planning.

Graduating from Texas A&M University, Larry earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and he went on to achieve a master's degree (MBA) in financial management from National University, San Diego. Prior to joining Sagemark Consulting, he served as a captain in the United States Marine Corps.

In sharing his expertise with others, Larry has conducted public seminars on estate planning in the Southern California area in various locations. He is a member of the Southern California chapter of the Estate Planning Council. Among his community service activities, he has been active in the American Cancer Society, the March of Dimes, and has served on the board of directors of the Multiple Sclerosis Brunch Society. He also has co-hosted “Inside Business” a business financial talk-radio show in San Diego.

In May 2014 Larry became the President of Capital Accounts, taking over from John Jacobs, but embracing the philosophies and continuing the practices that differentiate Capital Accounts from other financial planning firms.
